Elk Grove High School's cheerleading squad One of the roles of any Mayor is to recognize the many accomplishments of your citizens, particularly young people. Here, Mayor Craig Johnson honors Elk Grove High School's outstanding cheerleading squad with a key to the Village. The coed team, nicknamed the Grenadiers, has brought home a number of state titles in the sport.

Education is important, and so are the scholastic options required of a good school district. Fortunately, Elk Grove Village has options for every parent seeking a quality learning experience for their child.

Elk Grove Village has 14 grammar schools and one high school within city limits. They are located within two public school districts: School District 54 and Community Consolidated School District 59.
